From McLaren to Toro Rosso
From McLaren to Toro Rosso
Yesterday evening was quite busy.
We first had the pleasure to attend the official opening of Switzerland's first (and so far only) McLaren showroom. Then we teleported to a private event with F1 driver Sébastien Buemi at Toro Rosso's new sponsor Falcon Private Bank.
The new McLaren showroom
Thanks a lot to Thilo and his team for the invitation. And to Frank (carz.ch) for the company...

Lucky as we were, we even managed to have a glance at the first and only (again!) Lamborghini Aventador in the country. Fantastically gorgeously amazing car! (Yes, I like it a bit...)

Sébastien Buemi
The event with Sébastien Buemi was quite an exclusive one, so thanks a lot to Dani for the much appreciated invitation.
Sébastien welcomed all the guests in person and was of course posing for the photos (this guy has patience). We then all moved upstairs for a more formal presentation of Sébastien and Franz Tost, his team principal, by Falcon Bank's CEO Eduardo Leemann. Swiss TV well-know sports commentator Rainer Maria Salzgeber then took over and conducted a very interesting interview with Sébastien and F1 reporting legend Roger Benoît. Finally, Seb's helmet got auctioned for a nice final price in favor of Kinder-Spitex Zürich, an organization that takes care of ill, disabled and dying children.
